ARREST BLOOMBERG

Yesterday, we attended the Time's Up! bicycle rider's rally in Union Square. Norman Seigel spoke, along with Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir and other activists. We handed out tons of literature about Christopher's campaign calling for Bloomberg's arrest.

On June 7th, the process to collect signatures to put Christopher on the ballot begins. We need volunteers. If you are a registered democrat (who is also registered with the Board of Elections at your current address) and are willing to give as much or as little of your time as you can, even just one or two hours, we need people to man tables and walk around the parks on a sunny day, collecting signatures.

If you are interested, please email mayorbrodeur@yahoo.com.

Click here to read an article from the NY Times about fringe politics.

Christopher is considered a "fringe" candidate, though his ideas are about as mainstream as you can get - who doesn't want free subways? Is that a "fringe" idea? Who doesn't want single payer phone services? (This means you won't get a phone bill every month, just like you don't get a bill for the fire department every month - the government pays for that service.)
